This pulse oximeter is a commonly used medical assessment tool to determine the oxygenated hemoglobin saturation of the blood (SPO2). In other words, hemoglobin carries the oxygen in the blood. Normal SPO2 is 95% - 100%.
The oximeter also measures a person's pulse rate (PR) with a measuring range of 20 bpm (beats per minute) to 250 pm. t is a tool and is not meant to be a diagnostic device. The oximeter is painless and suitable for most ages though it is not intended for newborns/babies. It can be a great tool for outdoor enthusiasts such as hikers, mountain bikers, pilots, skiers, runners , etc. Oximeters also work well for persons monitoring their pulse for or oxygen saturation as part of disease management and/or health maintenance.
Results can be obtained in a 8 seconds through an LED display and the device features an automatic screen rotation of 4 directions for easy reading.

Special considerations:
For best results, avoid using the device in direct sunlight. If there is too much light exposure, it can delay the results. If you cannot avoid direct sunlight when using the oximeter, place hour hands other hand in such a way as to shade the device.
As the oximeter is sensitive to movement, remain still while the device is obtaining a reading.
To use the oximeter, place a finger with the fingernail facing up, into the open channel. For best results, fingernails should be free of nail polish.
